More than 500 agriculture partners and industry leaders will gather on June 24, 2022 at Carroll County Shooting Sports Park for the West Tennessee Shooting Hunger event. Hosted by Tennessee Farm Bureau, Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st and Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, Shooting Hunger is a sporting clays event raising funds to decrease food insecurity across Tennessee. more

HUNTINGDON — Two rising-seniors at Huntingdon High School attended the American Legion Boys State in Cookeville this summer. The week-long event trains young men in government and about history. more
Two local students received degrees at the University of the South’s 2022 commencement ceremonies held in All Saints’ Chapel on the Sewanee campus May 7. more
McKENZIE (June 7) — United Way of West Tennessee was the guest program for the June 7 meeting of the Rotary Club of McKenzie. more
Emma Martin, of McKenzie, and Tera Townsend, of Huntingdon, will compete in the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant in Jackson. The pageant begins June 15 and ends with the crowning ceremony on June 18. more
McKENZIE (June 7) — A new multi-purpose building and pay raises for teachers and other staff are represented in the proposed 2022-23 fiscal year budget of the McKenzie Special School District (MSSD). The local Board of Education convened in a budget workshop to discuss the details of the proposed $15.97 million budget. more
CARROLL COUNTY — Paralympic athletes Kirsten Sass and Amy Dixon coached the No Sight No Limits triathlon camp in Carroll County, June 11 and 12. Amy Dixon, an elite blind paratriathlete and 8-time World Triathlon gold medalist, founded Camp No Sight No Limits in 2017 to help visually-impaired athletes and guides train for future competitions. more

A box of 11-13 pounds is $30 and they will arrive fresh early July. Stop by during business hours or use PayPal us using cchstn@gmail.com to order.
