 JACKSON, Tenn., formerly of McKenzie, Tenn. - Funeral services for Robert William Robertson are Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 11 a.m. until service time. Interment and military honors are at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie.

Mr. Robertson, 89, died December 13, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He retired from the U.S. Army and was a cattle farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church McKenzie, the American Legion, VFW Post # 4939 and served as post commander from 1991-1994. He was born in Yuma on November 18, 1934 to Eddie and Eva Azbill Robertson.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years Wynnie Robertson of Jackson, a daughter, Teri R. Stansell of Jackson, a stepson, John (Cheryl) Tyson of Collinwood, a sister, Jamie Cude  of Humboldt, one grandson, four step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two step- great -great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Aaron Robertson, and step-daughter, Sonja Sides.
