Mc Kenzie, TNMcKenzie, Tenn. - Funeral services for Mac “Bingo” Wheet is Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Huntingdon, Tenn..
Mr. Wheet, 79, died Monday, March 18, 2024 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. He was born in Only, Tenn. on February 11, 1945 to Lee and Effie Howell Wheet. He was in the US Army and a factory supervisor for River Oaks Furniture.
He survived by his children, Melinda (Gary) Wallace and Angie (Ron) Fuzzell, all of McKenzie, two stepdaughters, Pamela Castleman and Misty Azbill, two sisters, Louise Crider and Lois (Joe) Hampton, all of McKenzie, four grandchildren, Shane (Anna) Wheet, Leslie Wheet (Shannon Hardwick), Bailee Christman and Morgan Christman, and step-grandchildren, Haley Hall, Dustin Bell, Ashley Parsons and Allie Adams and four step-great-grandchildren Blakely Hall, Carson Bell, Landon And Lainey Parsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sharon Wheet, sisters, Jessie Cude and Lucille Blaylock and brothers, James, Wheet, Wayne Wheet, Buddy Wheet and Joe Wheet.
