Mrs. Frances Leona Chandler, 97, of Huntingdon, died Thursday, December 14, 2023, at her home.
Funeral services are Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. James Harris officiating. Interment is in Long Rock Cemetery.
Pallbearers who served were Michael Bales, Joey Bales, Brayden Bales, Tim Bennett, Michael Bennett, Steve Phelps.
Honorary Pallbearers who served were Tommy Eskew and Steve Rosser.
Mrs. Chandler was born September 9, 1926, in Huntingdon, to the late David Homer and Lucy Elizabeth (Dill) Eskew. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Huntingdon. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 78 years, T.C. Chandler, four brothers, Carlos Eskew, James Eskew, Martin Eskew, Ray Eskew, and a sister, Estell Rosser.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Bales (David) of Huntingdon, a son, David Chandler, of Charlotte, and a sister, Ruth Bennett, of Huntingdon. She also leaves two grandchildren, Michael Bales (Kim) and Joey Bales, and two great-grandchildren. Chase Funeral Home-Huntingdon.
