PARIS (January 21) — On Sunday at approximately 6:17 p.m. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an aircraft accident on Highway 69 north. Upon arrival, deputies located a small aircraft flipped upside down in the grassy area between the highway and the end of the runway at The Henry County Airport. more

McKENZIE (January 17) — On Wednesday, Stacy Myers of 101 Springdale Lane in the Henry County portion of McKenzie was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of schedule II controlled substance with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. more
GREENFIELD (January 21) — On Saturday, January 20, the Greenfield Police Department and Weakley County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the city limits regarding a deceased female located inside a residence. The deceased, Krista Davis, was found lying on the kitchen floor with severe trauma wounds to her face and chest. more

HUNTINGDON (January 8) — The Carroll County Commission met Monday, January 8 with a light agenda. Renee Meyers, Carroll County’s Veterans Service Officer spoke to the Commission about the Carroll County Veterans Coalition. Myers stated that she was soliciting money from the legislative body but wanted buy-in and support for the organization.
