Relay For Life is September 9
Relay for Life is “Rocking and Rolling” back to Carroll County on Saturday, September 9, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Carroll County Civic Center in Huntingdon. Michelle Tucker and Jennifer Horton are the co-chairs for this event and are so excited to welcome your ideas to raise money for the American Cancer Society (ACS).

McKenzie High School Class of 1968 55th Reunion
The McKenzie High School Class of 1968 is having a catered dinner for their 55th Reunion at 6 p.m. on September 16, 2023, at The Barn, 700 Hill Road, McKenzie. To register, please send checks for $25.00 per person by September 2, 2023, made out to Charlie Beal at: 219 Diamond Drive, McKenzie, TN 38201. Please bring any school or class memorabilia with you to share with everyone. McKenzie High School Class Of 1960 Reunion
The McKenzie High School Class of 1960 is planning its 63rd-year reunion on Saturday, September 2. Many class members have been contacted as we have their numbers and addresses. If you were a member of this class at any time, but have not received an invitation, you are invited.

Oak Ridge Boys in Huntingdon
The Oak Ridge Boys will perform a free concert during the Huntingdon Heritage Festival on Saturday morning, September 23 in downtown.

Greater Enon Church Hype Night
The Greater Enon Church promises H.Y.P.E. (Helping You Pursue Eternity) Night on Saturday, September 3, will not be “the usual church experience.” Beginning at 6 p.m., people of all ages are encouraged to attend and bring a friend to the special service at Greater Enon Church at 313 Walnut Ave., McKenzie.

The theme is “I’m R.E.T.R.O.: Removing Everything That Represents Obstacles.”

Smalltown Cruisers Antique Car Club
The Smalltown Cruisers Antique Car Club meets the second Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Hollow Rock Fire station, 21280 Seminary Street, Hollow Rock. The monthly Cruise-Ins begin in April. For more information, contact Jan Ostiguy at 731-444-1801 or email jano1970@att.net.

Carroll County Commission Meets Monthly
Carroll County Commission meets the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in December, February, and July.

Sheriff’s Department Road Blocks
Carroll County Sheriff’s Department is conducting roadblocks on September 15 and 16, Highway 79, McKenzie and Highway 70, Bruceton.

Carroll County Democratic Party Meets
The Carroll County Democratic Party meets the third Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at 12740 Lexington Street, Huntingdon.

McKenzie City Council Meets Monthly
The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.

Carroll County Republican Party Meets
The Carroll County Republican Party meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the court room of the Public Safety building, 12740 Lexington Street, Huntingdon.
