Celebration of Four Chaplains’ Service
The American Legion in Huntingdon is hosting a Celebration of Four Chaplains Service on Saturday, February 10, 5 p.m. at the Carroll County Civic Center.

McKenzie City Council Meets Monthly
The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.

Carroll County Democratic Party Meets
The Carroll County Democratic Party meets the third Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at 12740 Lexington Street, Huntingdon.

Food Commodity Giveaway
The Northwest Tenn. Economic Development Council will conduct USDA Commodity Distribution for Carroll County residents at 13355 Paris Street, Huntingdon on February 7 and 8, 8 a.m. to 12 noon or until food runs out. This is a first-come first-served basis. Residents must be signed up to receive assistance but can sign up on site if eligible requirements are established. This organization is an equal opportunity provider.

Adult Education Classes
Huntingdon Location — Adult Education Building, 14155 Paris Street. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Classes are offered for one-on-one instruction on Mondays, 1-4 p.m. and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to NOON. For more information, phone 731-364-5481.

Carroll County Commission Meets Monthly
Carroll County Commission meets the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in December, February, and July.

As a reminder, CCHS always have cat spay/neuter vouchers for $50 each to be used at the Paris Vet Clinic.
Dog vouchers will be available once the program is finalized in the near future.

Married for a Purpose
Beech Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Brawners Levee Road, Gleason, is hosting a conference and a catered dinner on February 10, 4 p.m. David and Joy Parkman will conduct the seminar. The price is $30 for couples and $15 for individuals.

VFW Super bowl Party
McKenzie Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4939 is hosting a 2024 Super Bowl Party, February 11. Included is a chili cookoff and a raffle. For more information, phone 731-207-1027.
