Every Citizen Can Vote

Posted

Voting by every US citizen who is 18 years of age or older is perhaps the most important tenant of American democracy. It is sacred and must be encouraged and protected by everyone.

Democracy works if and only if everyone has a voice. No law or statute should be enacted that restricts or inhibits access to the ballot box. At this time, July 13, 2021, there are two bills being debated by the United States Senate. They are as follows: (a) For The People Act and (b) The John Lewis Voting Rights. In order for freedom to reign in our country, it is essential for the U.S. Senate to pass both bills to ensure every citizen can vote.
