Charley Pride’s Secret Son Comes Forward

Posted

Tyler Tines Pride, 42, of Texas has filed suit against the Charley Pride estates after he was omitted from the will of the late country music superstar, who died of COVID-19 in December 2020.

Tyler is the son of Joyce Ann Tines, an Atwood, Tenn. native, who was an airline attendant when she had an affair with the superstar.

At the time of Joyce’s relationship with Charley Pride, he was already married to his wife, Rozene, and the couple had three children.

Later, a paternity case confirmed Tyler was also Charley’s son. The singer provided child support until Tyler turned 18 years of age.

Tyler and his dad visited occasionally, but the family never told Tyler his dad was sick nor did they allow him to attend the funeral. Tyler is suing for a portion of the estate, even though he was not included in the last will and testament.

Tyler is married and has children of his own and resides in Texas.
