Carroll Reaches 21.32 Percent Vaccination Level

NASHVILLE (March 12) — Carroll and Henry counties are among the top counties with the highest percentage of its citizens who have received at least one vaccine against the coronvirus.
According to data from the Tennessee Department of Health, Carroll County has administered 9,832 vaccines, which is 21.32 percent of the county’s population with at least one of two doses of the vaccine. A total of 14.01 percent has both vaccines, or the one-dose J&J vaccine. Vaccinations are available at the Carroll County Health Department, Phipps Pharmacy in McKenzie and Huntingdon, Baptist Hospital and Walmart-Huntingdon.
Carroll has sustained 3,505 cases of COVID-19 in the one-year-long pandemic. Eighty-one died, and 3,410 recovered.
Henry has administered 11,986 vaccines, or 21.89 percent of the population with at least one vaccine and 15.22 percent with two doses or the one-dose J&J vaccine. Vaccines are available at Henry County Health Department, Henry County Medical Center, and Walmart.

In Henry, the population sustained 3,034 cases over the one-year period, 75 deaths, and 2,917 recovered.
In Weakley County, 8,622 have been vaccinated, which is 15.35 percent with at least one dose and 10.43 with both vaccines or the one-dose J&J.
In Weakley, 3,826 cases of COVID-19 were reported over the year, with 60 deaths and 3,738 recovered.
In Weakley, the vaccine is available at the Weakley County Health Department, WalMart, and City Drugs in Gleason.
