Huntingdon School Board to Meet
Huntingdon Special School District Board of Education meets Thursday, June 17, 5 p.m. at the Central Office, 585 High Street, Huntingdon.
 
Georgia Peaches for Sale by Humane Society
The Carroll County Humane Society will be taking orders for Georgia (Freestone) Peaches beginning Thursday, May 13th and ending Saturday, June 19. A hand picked, fresh orchard box of 11-13 lb. of peaches is $30 or $31.50 if paying with credit or debit card. Delivery will be early to mid July. 
How to order? Call us at 731-352-9950 and please leave a message if no answer. Someone will call you back to take your order. You can also drop by during business hours to order. We are open Tuesday-Friday 8-1 and Saturday 10-2.
You can order via PayPal at paypal.me/cchstn. Make sure your payment is “sending to a friend” to avoid fees and put in notes that your payment is for peaches. We need your name, address and phone number.
Some of our CCHS volunteers will be taking orders in person.
As always, we need and appreciate your support and hope that you will participate in this fundraiser for some delicious peaches! 
 
ITT-Milan Bi-Annual Reunion
ITT Milan bi-annual reunion is Thursday, July 15 at Hig’s Restaurant in Milan. Social time begins 5:30 p.m. with a buffet meal to follow at 6 p.m. Cost is $14.50 per person and includes buffet, drink and tip. All former employees are invited to attend. Overflow Church Hosts Chamber Meet and Greet
McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans its first after-hours meet and greet event for members. It is Tuesday, June 15, 5-7 p.m. at Overflow Church on Highland Drive. Everyone is invited to learn about the church and the Chamber.
 
Carroll County Library June Events
The Carroll County Library offers free meals to children 18 and under each weekday. Breakfast is served from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and lunch from noon-1 p.m. Crazy 8s Math Club for grades K-2 meets each Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. Tot Time is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with June guest readers including Trudy Radford, Mayor Joseph Butler, Terri Key and LeighAnn Towater. Summer Reading Program activities are each Thursday at 10 or 10:30 a.m. and include West TN PBS and Nature Cat on June 10, Smokey the Bear on June 17 and Ollie Otter, Eddie Eagle and Carroll County First Responders on June 24. Each week Fantastic Friday features board games, card games, puzzles, crafts and more for all ages all day. Kid’s Coding Club is Monday, June 14 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. (please pre-register). Lego Club is Thursday, June 17 from 3-4 p.m. Adult Crafting Hour is Saturday, June 19 at 10 a.m. (please pre-register). Anime Club is Thursday, June 24 from 4-5:30 p.m. Coffee with Characters is Saturday, June 26 at 10 a.m. Teens and Tweens Creativity Program is Monday, June 28 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. (please pre-register). A Science Guys program is Wednesday, June 30 at 1 p.m.
 
Spaghetti, Bingo, Cake Walk
The Carroll County Humane Society is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner, Bingo and Cake Walk on Friday, June 25 at the Carroll County Civic Center in Huntingdon. The dinner starts at 6 p.m. and Bingo at 6:30 p.m. Take-out is available. The price is $8 per adult and $5 for aged 10 and under. This fundraising event is for community spay/neuter of dogs through matching grants from Tenn. Spay Neuter Coalition and Spay Tennessee. Carroll County Democratic Committee, Women  Meet Monthly
Carroll County Democratic Women Committee meets each third Tuesday at 6 p.m. Meetings are held at the Carroll County Office Complex on High Street in Huntingdon. Everyone is welcome to attend. 
 
NW Tennessee Development, Human Resource Meeting
The Northwest Tennessee Development District Executive Committee and Northwest Tennessee Human Resource Agency Policy Council meets in regular session at 11 a.m. Friday, June 25 at the conference room at 124 Weldon Drive, Martin.
 
Nights on Broadway
McKenzie Main Street presents Nights on Broadway, a summer concert series, from 7-9 p.m. on select Thursdays from June through September in downtown McKenzie.
The lineup includes:
June 17 - Crossfire; July 1 - Flashback; July 15 - Fajita Bros.; July 29 - Longshot; August 5 - Crossfire; August 19 - James Greer Band; September 2 - Flashback; and September 16 - Dialogue.
 
McKenzie City Council Meets Monthly
The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month. 
 
Carroll County Emergency Communications Meeting
The Carroll County Emergency Communications Board of Directors meets in a regular scheduled meeting Tuesday, June 15 at 5:30 p.m. at 200 Norandal Drive, Huntingdon.
 
Carroll County Democratic Party Picnic in the Park
The Carroll County Democratic Party hosts a Picnic in the Park Saturday, June 26 from 5-7 p.m. at Sesquicentennial Park in Huntingdon. Everyone is invited to this free event for food, fun and entertainment. 
 
Johnson Temple C.M.E. Prayer Vigil
There is a Community Prayer Vigil every Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Johnson Temple C.M.E, 915 Walnut Avenue, McKenzie. 
We come together to pray for one another, our community and country, then study the Word of God. Johnson Temple C.M.E. Church convenes each Sunday with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m.

Joy Club Meets Twice Monthly
The Joy Club meets at McKenzie First United Methodist Church on the first and third Thursdays of each month from noon-2 p.m. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy fellowship, games, guest speakers and movies. All are welcome.
 
McKenzie Historic Zoning  Meets Monthly
The McKenzie Historic Zoning Committee meets the second Wednesday of each month, 4 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.
