Driving Under the Influence — Mitchell Clark, 34, Connie Allen Road, McKenzie, was charged with Driving Under the Influence - Third Offense on September 25. more
Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest — Keshun Deeonte Smith, 20, Lexington Tenn., was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest following an incident at McKenzie City Park on September 21. more
Lamont Treadway, 40, of Bruceton was arrested on September 17 for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II methamphetamine. Officer Roberts observed a vehicle going 48 in a 35 MPH zone on Buena Vista Road when he initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was Lamont D. Treadway, who had told the officer that he had smoked marijuana and had a pipe in the vehicle for smoking marijuana. Officer Roberts then searched the vehicle and did find a pipe with meth inside it. more

DUI Arrest — Tre’von Woods, 23, of Jackson, was arrested for DUI on September 15. Woods drove into a DUI checkpoint around 11 p.m. where deputy Smith was working. His vehicle reportedly smelled like marijuana, in which Woods said he had smoked 30 minutes before. The deputy then asked Woods to pull his vehicle to the side of the road to perform a sobriety test in which he failed and was then arrested. more

Harassment — On August 28, the victim of harassment phoned Carroll County Sheriff’s Department in regards to Joseph Samual Anderson, 37, calling and texting her when she had asked him to stop. Deputy James M. Boaz advised Anderson to quit contacting the victim. On September 7, Deputy Boaz spoke to the victim again where she stated that Mr. Anderson had not stopped texting and trying to call her. She then sent proof to the deputy by showing text messages and phone calls that were time stamped through e-mail. Mr. Anderson was then charged with harassment. more

Domestic Assault — Dennis N. Jordan, Jr., 46, Hamilton Street, McKenzie was charged with Domestic Assault on September 13. more
Quentin Selby Trimm, 32, of Huntingdon, was charged with theft of merchandise under $1,000. On August 30, Trimm willingly took several items from Walmart without paying. The value of the items was $50.25. more
